GROWING UP
Silvio Muccino was born in Rome on the 14 of April 1982. He is son of Luigi Muccini, one of the managers of an Italian Television channel, “Rai” and of Antonella Cappuccio, a famous painter among the artistic groups in Rome.
He is the youngest of three brothers. Silvio older brother named Gabriele is a famous Italian film director while his sister,Luna, works in the film industry as casting director .
Silvio did his elementary and high school studies in Rome , graduating from “Liceo Ginnasio Statale Terenzio Mamiani”. After his graduation he applied to the University called ” La Sapienza” which he left after only giving one or two exams .
LEAVING HOME
After ending up his studies sooner than he thought, he decided to keep following his dream to become a notorious actor and started off with a small role in the film ”Paparazzi” by Neri Parenti (1998) as his first break into the film industry .
ACTING CAREER
However his first film where he starred even if with a small role was in ” Un delitto impossibile” by Antonello Grimaldi in 2001. Following he played in a second movie called ” L’ultimo Bacio” (working closly with his older brother Gabriele who was the film director of this movie) in 2001.
Silvio most famous work must have been the writing of the novel , Parlami D’ Amore and the turning of it in a movie always directed by himself. Silvio was also the main actor of the movie an co-starred with other international actresses such as Aitana Sanchez Gijon and Carolina Crescentini. The film was written and produced by himself. This movie won the ” David di Donatello award” in 2008 and as best photography in 2008 with the “Nastri D’Argento Award”.
This movie describes a meeting between two people very different from each other in social status and in way of life. Silvio plays the part of a 25 years old guy named Sasha who falls in love with an older woman Nicole , played by Aitana Sanchez Gijon. Their love is full of obstacles , since Saha seems not to have loved Nicole at first sight but kept felling closer and closer to the other character Benedetta, played by Carolina Crescentini, until he realized that he loved Nicole. The film ends with Sasha and Nicole looking at each other and with Sasha pronouncing the line ” Parlami D’Amore ” which is the exact title of the movie.
PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS
The funny and good looking Italian actor seems to be able to keep his private life away from the public, leaving the paparazzi to go mad and run everywhere to get pictures of him with some new ”hotties”.
According to some journalistic rumors, Silvio has been dating for some time an anonymous woman , who is not driven by the Italian film industry as a whole, leaving the fans to think of someone who is outside of the Italian media, maybe an ordinary woman. Nothing is set on certain yet , and Silvio’s fans can keep dreaming of meeting him in his films’scenes until the identity of this unknown woman will , if ever, be revealed.
